Workplaces across Victoria play a crucial role in supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees.

Every workplace is different, so we want to make sure the Life! program fits comfortably with what your workforce needs and how your organisation works. That’s why we’re inviting staff responsible for health, safety and wellbeing to take part in our consultation.

Why your input matters

By contributing your perspective, you’ll help ensure the Life! program is better tailored to workplace needs, making it easier for your staff to engage and take part.

Your involvement also supports a much broader goal. The Life! program is designed to help reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease — conditions that affect an increasing number of people across the community. By sharing your insights, you’re helping strengthen a program that promotes wellbeing, reduces risk, and supports healthier outcomes for working Victorians.

What’s involved?

Participating in the consultation is simple. We’ll arrange a one‑hour interview, either online or over the phone, at a time that suits you.
No preparation is needed, and you don’t need any prior knowledge of the Life! program.

These consultations will run from February through to May 2026, giving you plenty of flexibility to get involved. By learning more about your workplace, we can tailor how the Life! program is introduced and delivered.

What we will do for you

As a thank you for your contribution, your workplace will receive priority access to a Healthy Living Session — a no‑cost wellbeing activity delivered by a qualified health professional. These sessions focus on general healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition, giving your staff practical, achievable strategies to help transform plans into action.

Privacy and confidentiality

Our consultation focuses on general workplace experiences and preferences. We are not seeking sensitive, confidential, or detailed operational information. You’re welcome to share insights at a high level — for example, how wellbeing initiatives are usually communicated, what tends to engage staff, or common barriers workplaces experience.

All information you provide will be treated confidentially and used only to help us understand how the Life! program can be introduced and delivered in ways that best support your workplace. The consultation is designed to be simple, safe, and respectful of your organisation’s existing processes and privacy expectations.
